Over 30 years of love and commitment

      Barry and Debbie have been together since early high school where Barry registered for a class in photography.  Shortly after, he decided to devote his life to both….Debbie and Photography.  After high school, Barry achieved his Associates Degree in Photography at Antonelli Institute of Art and Photography in 1979 and married Debbie in 1981.

Debbie and Barry Cox started “Barry Cox Photography” out of their honey moon home in Sewell, New Jersey.  Since then Barry has won many photographic awards.  His images have been published numerous times.

      Their love and commitment has spread to both their local and photographic communities.  Barry has served as the President, and is currently the Parliamentarian, of the Guild of Professional Photographers of the Delaware Valley.  He is also on the Board of Trustees of the Mid Atlantic Regional School of Professional Photography. 

These are just two of the many volunteer positions he has held as an effort to give back to the profession that has meant so much to him.

      Volunteerism, for Debbie and Barry, doesn’t stop with photography.  Debbie is very active with Underwood Memorial Hospital’s Auxiliaries where she has been President and has served on the Foundation Board for 10 years.  Debbie has been instrumental in helping this 75 year old volunteer group raise over $2,000,000 in the 15 years she been a member.

Their generosity has also been shown in helping many other local and national charitable organizations, some as large as the United Way and some as small as Bradley’s Buddies (a local charity raising money for childhood T-Cell Leukemia research).

Stephen (Steve) DeAngelo has been working with Barry and Debbie since 1986.  Steve graduated from Antonelli Institute of Art and Photography in 1984. He too has served the photographic community as the President of the South Jersey Chapter of the Professional Photographers Association of New Jersey.  In addition to his photographic degree, Steve has achieved the Second Degree Black Belt in Tang Soo Do.  His dedication to the sport of Karate and his devotion to the development of young people in the area, has naturally lead him, along with his partner and Fourth Degree Black Belt Master James Meighan, to start Family Martial Arts and Fitness in Mantua, New Jersey.
